Léon Gloden was born on 9 December 1972 in Ettelbruck.
After graduating from secondary school, Léon Gloden went on to study at the University of Aix-Marseille, where he obtained a master's degree in European and international law at the Faculty of Law and Political Science. He completed his studies with degrees from the University College London (UCL) and the College of Europe Bruges.

The Minister for Home Affairs, Léon Gloden, took part in the meeting of the Justice and Home Affairs (JHA) Council of the European Union, held in Brussels on 4 March 2024.
One year after the law came into force requiring home residents to install smoke detectors in escape routes and bedrooms, Minister for Home Affairs Léon Gloden reminds us of its vital importance: "This technical tool makes it easy to detect a potential fire as early as possible. It's within everyone's reach, providing warning and protection".
